2009 Cedar Point and Cleveland

For those not familiar, Cedar Point is an amusement park in northern Ohio. Cedar Point is a 364 acre amusement park located in Sandusky, Ohio. Cedar Point is the only amusement park with four roller coasters that are taller than 200 feet (61 m). As of 2010, Cedar Point has more rides (75) than any other amusement park

Our family trip for 2009 was to visit a couple of places:

  1. the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio

  2. the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland (Cleveland Rocks!), and

  3. Cedar Point amusement park.

This picture is taken in front of Top Thrill Dragster whis is the tallest (420 ft) and fastest (120 miles per hour) roller coaster in the world. Top Thrill Dragster was the first Strata Coaster in the world.

In 2007, Cedar Point added a very cool roller coaster called Maverick. The ride features a 105-foot drop at a 95 degree angle.
