2017 Motorcycle Trip to Kenora Canada

We had a free Memorial Day weekend and so, what the heck, let's go to Canada where they don't celebrate it! :-) We were really happy that our motorcycling friends, Karen and Fred were free to join us too! We'd have had fun going anywhere with those two.

We used the three day weekend to visit a Kindergarten buddy of Tim's in Kenora Canada. We took roughly the route below leaving Friday evening.

We made it to Rice Lake Friday night with the goal of making it to Kenora for dinner time on Saturday. We did it!

Mark and Ronnie own and operate the local pet shot called Chow Time. We had to make a stop in to check out the place!

No motorcycle trip (especially with Fred and Karen) are complete without an ice cream stop. With Mark's desire to be an engineer, we could not have picked a better place to grab ice cream than a place where he could climb on a train!

Downtown Kenora is kind of a touristy place with a beautiful lakeside park.

The ride home was not a lot of fun! It rained on us almost the entire way. In the end, we put on over 1300 miles but had a great time.
