2017 Mississippi River Motorcycle Trip

Roxanne and Tim had a free weekend in October, with a beautiful weather forecast so we decided to take advantage of it! With Kyle's Minnesota Gopher soccer team scheduled to play in Winona, MN, that became our destination.

You can see the route that we eventually took below:

Winona is a beautiful college town just below the bluff's. Early Sunday morning, we took a quick ride up to Garvin Heights for a beautiful view of Winona and the Mississippi River

We did stop along the way to check out the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN.

One of Tim's co-workers who is familiar with the Nelson Cheese Factory recommended a stop there for our regular ice cream stop. As you can see, above, it was a popular spot for a town of 347!!! We would also recommend a stop..the ice cream was very good.

Just for Tim's friend, Mark, we had to stop in Neillsville and take a photo (Mark's hometown)! Mark...here is proof!

For a spur of the moment trip, we put on nearly 600 miles and had a great time.
