Boys Weekend in Minneapolis

Erik and Tim drove to Minneapolis to spend the weekend with Kyle. We got there Saturday afternoon in time to make a Minnesota Gopher Hockey game which completed Tim’s Gopher Trifecta (Basketball, Football and Hockey games). Kyle was able to get us very nice tickets but the game was not well-attended as it was an early-season game against a not-so-good opponent. We had fun!

On Sunday, the three of us attended a Minnesota United professional soccer game against the L.A. Galaxy. The game was part of a fundraiser for Kyle’s Club Soccer Team who was playing immediately after on TCF Stadium Field. Erik and Kyle were pumped because Zlatan Ibrahimović plays for the Galaxy and he did not disappoint us! Unfortunately because of Kyle’s sprained ankle, Kyle didn’t get to play but that allowed Kyle to join us for our next fun event…..

Sunday evening was Phil Collins at the Target Center. We got tickets late so we had to sit in the nosebleed section but we could hear and see the show fine!
