2021 - Impulse buy - House In Florida

As you can see in previous posts, our goal was to just have fun in 2021. Our stepfather had offered us one of his homes in Florida to use during COVID that had been left vacant. After only about a month in Florida, i guess we drank the Kool Aid and put an offer in on a house on February 5th. The offer was accepted VERY shortly thereafter and we closed on the house March 5th.

The house is located in a 55+, 'gated' community with lots of golf courses and a very active social scene for retired and near-retired people called "The Villages". Our home is in the Village of Lynnhaven. It's not a big home (2 bedroom, 2 bath) but we have a 2-car garage plus a golf car garage.

Speaking of golf car, since the rental we were staying in was only 4 blocks from our new home, we used the golf car for the moving process! That sure makes moving different than other moves we've made!!
